Altar Guild
Cares for the altar vestments, paraments, and sets
up for all services and distributes flowers from the
Altar to those unable to be at the services. Training
available.

Helps the celebrant around the altar before, during,
and after the service; lights the candles, carries the
cross in procession; Training available.

Sunday Morning Greeter
Greets parishioners, welcomes visitors; Ushers,

Thrift Shop
Racks on the second-floor level are maintained
with clothing items and shoes, available for the
taking by the needy and for patrons of the soup
kitchen.

Soup Kitchen
As part of its outreach ministry, the Church of the
Ascension provides space and utilities to Fall
River Soup Kitchens, Inc. Twice weekly complete
meals are served to approximately 100 -120
patrons.

Sojourn Teddy Bears
Twenty five bears are distributed each month to
the Hudner Oncology Center in Fall River and an
additional twenty five to the Hawthorne Radiation
Center in Dartmouth as well as any individual with
cancer not attending these facilities.
